Version 8: Moving Forward

It’s going to be a brand new journey ahead in 2009. Whether the path will be rough or smooth does not really matter, what really matters are a positive mindset, a burning passion and the willingness to step out of comfort zone. ( This is really looking like some sports brand advertisement, haha. )
This time round I tried playing around with colours so as to bring out the character using a high contrast effect, but yet not too aggressive. The raw watercolour feel is also something I haven’t tried before.
Version 7: Missing

If I can, I want to be a kid forever. Free from the troubles of responsibilities in adult life, the never-ending cycle of money-making and the invasion of harsh reality into our innocent minds, and only truly living each moment without worrying about the future, experiencing every single thing in life with the faculty of wonder and high amount of curiosity. As a kid, I get to enjoy student/kids meals everywhere too. ^^
I don’t want to miss out on life’s simple pleasures, and I miss being a kid.
Version 6: Sweet

If you have noticed, I change my layout almost every 3 months. Here’s a brand new layout for the new year, created entirely in Adobe Photoshop CS3! XD
2007 was an amazing year for me. Many ups and downs, beautiful memories and fresh new encounters. This layout shows the flowing images of some of the wonderful moments. Let’s hope for a better year ahead in 2008!
This is the first layout that does not have the colour orange in it, because Hot Pink is the new Orange for me! Lol. However, that does not mean I will change the url to pinkish.org!
The main focus of this design is simplicity, because I thought that my previous layout was too cluttered and messy, just like my life. My experimentation on a 3 column layout was quite a disaster, haha.

Version 4: Goodbye Days

(Below is a chunk of details about this layout, which can be quite a bore to read.)
Inspired by YUI’s song, Goodbye Days, here’s a new layout for this upcoming autumn season!
“Oh goodbye days! .. Yesterday’s already far away.. Things have already started changing..” (some random lyrics I picked from the song itself)
Have been saying goodbye to many things recently. Some things just have to end, no matter how much you don’t want them to. And yet some things, no matter how much you want to try to end them, they just wouldn’t. ( lol )
But no matter what, it’s important to move on and live in the present, despite being very reluctant to let go of ‘yesterdays’ sometimes.
The paper plane in this layout represents the departure of yesterdays, and moving on into the future. As we know, paper planes flies and drops quickly, just like good times in life, which usually ‘flies’ very quickly too. All we can do, is to cherish the moments during the good times, and make the best out of our journey into the future!
Version 3: Showtime!

I guess this is my first truly orangish layout that I’ve done so far. Let me explain this layout: That stickman holding a sword represents me, as I will be going through many months of non-stop battle with my project and work. That cactus ‘monster’ represents the obstacles that I will be facing. The long vertical strokes by the sides actually suggest curtain, because I feel that my life is quite like a movie now.In my movie, I’m the director cum writer cum male lead. It is really up to me whether I want to make this movie an exciting or boring one. This blog will serve as the documentary of this challenging period of my life over the next few months. Will Desmond be able to survive til then? Will he defeat the monster or be defeated by it? Read the next entry to find out!
The balloon attached to the site ‘logo’ is actually from the previous layout. Lol.
Version 2: Nostalgia

Made some small changes to the header to welcome the year of pig! =)
A year has passed, and it’s 2007! This is a new layout I did, just to welcome the new year. Certain elements from the previous layout are used (the birds), and new elements are introduced as well. 2006 is certainly a good year for me; It’s full of great memories. I believe that everyone should always treasure and cherish every little good things in life around them. We’ve got only one life, so live it to the fullest! Live it the way you want it to be!
This layout’s header depicts three kids (most likely) playing in a field. Being a kid is a thing of the past to me, and all I can do now is to remember those childhood memories in my heart.. or choose to relive them again. Who wants to join me?
Version 1: Fly Away

Did some minor changes to the header for the upcoming Christmas season. =)
My first layout for this domain. It is done revolving around the idea of freedom and starting anew. Setting up this new domain is like setting up a whole new life before me. I did this layout on the first day after my Studio Project ended, so there was this strong feeling of freedom in my that I wanted to express. I felt like a bird that was released from a cage, after being trapped for so long. My friends were like other birds from the same cage too. So there, you see lots of birds flying. And in India, according to that Visa commercial, if you free the birds you’ll get luck; More birds more luck. So I definitely hope that my life journey will enjoy more luck soon!
