Post Holiday Depression
After so many weeks of public holidays, long weekends, celebrations and fun, all these holidays are suddenly coming to a halt and everyone is thrown back to reality once again. Many people are now suffering from Post Holiday Depression during working days as a result.
Here’s probably some of the symptoms…

Some people suffer from it all the time but are unaware about it. -_- Are you one of them?
Movies I’ve watched:
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

“Really, it’s a story about people missing one another, and how in the end we are all on our own individual journeys. If the timing is right, you can intersect with someone and form a lasting bond, while if the timing isn’t right, you can end up feeling quite isolated.” - Cate Blanchett
I love this movie. It’s so simple and yet the unusual circumstances Benjamin is in (him aging backwards) keeps you emotionally connected while providing a fresh perspective of life and death.
I love how Stefan S. reviewed this movie too, do have a read if you are interested.

Inkheart

Looking at the poster of this movie, Brendan Fraser’s facial expression reads ‘boredom’ and ‘fatigue’. Lol. You see, he’s been involved in so many action, adventure and fantasy movies recently (The Mummy3, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and now Inkheart), even I myself am hoping to see a new face on screen already.
Hmm this movie was surprisingly quite good. All the characters from various backgrounds with their special abilities really enrich the viewing experience and makes it very entertaining. But all the magic spells and visual effects can’t hide the fact that it still needs an extra ‘oomph’ and some ‘mojo’ to make the show work.
Yes it’s a nice performance that makes you smile, but that’s about it.

Love Matters

Quite funny at some parts, but all in all.. the 3 story arcs seem to be going nowhere at times and some weird plotholes leave you scratching your head more than you laugh. Just like many of his other flicks, Jack Neo’s latest film has a happy ending.
Harmless entertainment for people age 16 and above (because it’s NC16).
