Movies I’ve watched recently!

Dragon Hunters

Errr.. I was deceived by the very nicely rendered poster. This movie turned out to be quite normal? Even the eye candies and wacky animation can’t save the story. It’s really a lot like Shrek, but has more dragons inside. Lol. Everything is just not ‘up’ enough. There’s some comedy elements (sometimes it gets too annoying too), adventure, fantasy and friendship. The viewing experience makes you feel like you are watching someone playing a video game.

Visually pleasing, but the rest are just not satisfying enough.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Haha, Madagascar itself is already part of the Africa continent! And the title tells you that they are escaping to… Africa again?

This movie tries to do too much by including a lot of side storylines (which are only there to entertain and don’t really matter) and tries very hard to be funny. Every main character has his/her own problems and the story shows just how they overcome their own obstacles and eventually work together for a better future.

It only entertains and fails to make you feel anything deeper. But hey, for movies like this, what more can you expect? Sit back and feast your eyes with the colourful visuals and snappy animation. =)

I nearly forgot my dear friend Shirley knew how to sleep talk last time, lol! This message was received long long long long ago.

Next time when you sleep with your boyfriend better don’t mention some other guy’s name! Haha.
