Below are my reviews of movies that I have watched over the past 1 month or so? I still do watch movies ok! Lol.

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Feels like some theme park roller coaster ride. Very fun to watch, but ‘not there’ yet. Some story elements feels forced and not very believable, but that’s not important if you are just looking for a 90 minutes sci-fi adventure flick that purely tries to keep you entertained all the time.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Another movie with Brendan Fraser in it in the same month. All I can say about this movie is…. it sucks! T_T This movie follows strictly to the ‘formula’ that has been done to death in the previous 2 movies in the series, and fails to deliver something satisfying. The chemistry between the main couple is nowhere to be seen. The story has very little relevance to mummy too. Sometimes I wondered if I was watching a movie about mummies or a Chinese Jet Li movie?

I have a lot more to complain about this movie.. but.. never mind that’s all for now. Haha.

Money No Enough 2

I love this movie! It is not super funny or has a very original new storyline, but it managed to deliver a few very important messages about our society and lives (which I think are what director Jack Neo wanted). As I was watching, I could relate to the characters and the obstacles they met, and I must say the production team has done a very good job at making the problems realistic.

Overall it’s a touching movie with meaningful messages behind it. If you are looking for refreshing plot and 120 minutes of non-stop laughter, then you will be slightly disappointed. =/

The Dark Knight

I watched this very long ago. Can’t really remember what I want to say about this movie. Great performances, great story, great fun. What more can I say? Heath Ledger’s Joker is just unforgettable and scary at the same time. I believe most of you have watched eh?
