Notice that the guy on his left ( our right ) is wearing a red cap. If that red cap is worn by ‘Mario’ in the picture above, he is gonna be totally ‘Mario’. Lol.
Notice there’s an ‘M‘ on Mario’s cap?
Look at Speed Racer’s helmet.
Both have ‘M‘ on them!
And both are involved in racing!
Anyway, craps aside. Speed Racer is a highly entertaining, exhilarating ride for the movie goers. The super speedy racing sequences are definitely going to cause headache for some ( that’s a compliment ) but at the same time, keep you at the edge of your seat.
The story is very simple and predictable. What really worked in this movie are the visuals and execution. It’s totally unlike anything you’ve seen before. I just really really love the psychedelic colours and the retro feel to it.

Iron Man review
Ah, Iron Man is possibly the most charismatic superhero I’ve ever seen. He’s a genius, a wealthy businessman and a guy with great sense of humour. Who doesn’t want to be like him?
It’s a very very cool movie to watch. Even though there aren’t enough fighting sequences for me, but that just makes me hungry for more of Iron Man. They are definitely going to make a sequel and I look forward to that!
Do stay til the end of the credits to catch some extra footages from the movie.

I love how you have a category named “Crap”. =P
I am not that interested in “Speed Racer”, but have been eying “Iron Man”. I have not watched “Iron Man” yet, have been hearing good reviews about it. People say that it’s even better than the “Spiderman” series. Would you reckon that’s true?
Desmond: I would say both are equally great, but in different ways. Out of the Spiderman movie trilogy so far, I liked the first one, loveddd the second one, but the third one disappointed me. =/ Spiderman movies are more on the emotional side, while Iron Man is more on the humour and charisma side. Both of them boast really solid visual effects. =)

Speed Racer is too exaggerated in some aspects. Makes me really giddy lol… Iron Man is certainly worth it to watch
Desmond: Yea, they deliberately made them very exaggerated. Some people think those exaggerations are great, some think it’s overdone. I think it’s really a love-it-or-hate-it movie. Haha. Did you watch it because of Rain? =p
