Facebook = Friendster 2.0
September 18th, 2007I think it’s safe to say that Facebook is the new Friendster. It’s just so much fun and so addictive!
(Let me digress. I think Friendster itself is getting annoying. If you have observed, there have been more and more advertisements flashing all over the website over the years. It’s just like houseflies, you keep bumping into them and they just won’t go away! At the same time, they keep multiplying!
Next, sometimes people love to decorate their profile pages, or even comments [used to be known as testimonials], with those flash animations or music that autoplay! It’s just.. urgghh.)
For years, I have always been loyal to Friendster, despite receiving numerous invitations to join other social networking websites like Hi5, Zorpia, Bebo, bla bla bla.
Most of the time, I ignored those invitations, because I was too lazy to start ‘adding friends’ and set up accounts in other websites.
However, just one day after I started using Facebook, I am convinced that I will continue to use it for a long time. I can go as far as to claim that I might dump Friendster in the near future. Hohoho.
In Facebook, you can headbutt someone, hug someone, chest bump, throw a sheep, give cookie, slap, kiss, worship, etc etc…..
I’m only scratching the surface and talking about roughly 5% of what you can do in it. It’s loaded with tons of fun applications for you to explore!
Argh~ You just have to sign up and experience it for yourself! All you need is an e-mail account.
Right now I’m still very new to this amazing social networking website, still behaving like some guy who has finally crawled out of some cave. Haha.
Hope to see you there!
No Reservations: Not funny enough, not romantic enough

I was fooled by the trailer. I thought this would be an extremely hilarious feel good romantic movie. However, I was slightly disappointed. I think it’s just alright~

Wah! Coincidently, I signed up Facebook just today, and I admit is really ADDICTIVE! So much better than Friendster, frankly, with so many fun applications to play with!
Hoho, do I sound like I’m advertising for them?

Hehe, I’ve just signed up Facebook today also! I must say it’s quite addictive, as what Pink Bee has said. You can poke someone, hug someone etcetc.
Go try it out if you have not tried it yet. :):)
