Korean Snacks

July 12th, 2007

Here are some of the Recommended-by-Desmond™ Korean snacks, which I have tried during FYP. I don’t know if my weight gain has got anything to do with these or not. But meanwhile, here they are:

Binggrae Smoky Bacon Chips

Binggrae Smoky Bacon Chips

This extremely crispy chips shapes, smells and tastes like real bacon (obviously). The good thing about it is, it’s not too salty. After chewing it for awhile, it will just ‘melt’ in your mouth. And before you know it, you would have already finished the whole packet and asking for more!

Nongshim Donut Snack

Nongshim Donut Snack

Why queue for donuts around Singapore when you can enjoy simple mini pleasures such as this one? Inside the cute packaging contains mini crispy donuts with (if I’m not wrong) coconut bits and do not contain MSG at all. It tastes pretty good, not too sweet, and it’s also unexpectedly addictive. Sounds scary. I gotta admit that the tail that goes through one of the mini donuts looks a little bit disturbing. Ehh…??! =x

(I forgot the brand name) Pizza Snack

Pizza Snack

A very light crispy pizza-flavoured snack that contains no MSG too. Great for those who fear that their hair might fall! Every bite hint a little cheese and tomato flavour without being too salty at the same time. I think it’s a perfect snack to replace the over-artificially flavoured Pringles Pizza Flavoured Chips.

Orion Oh! Gamja Chilli Flavoured Potato Stick Snack

Oh! Gamja

This light potato snack contains hollow potato sticks that breaks and crunches at first bite and melts in your mouth. It also has another flavour available in the market - original flavour. I personally like this one better because it’s a little more spicy!

That’s all for snacks recommendations today! All the snacks above are available in FairPrice Xtra at AMK Hub, that’s for sure. I’m not so sure about other places. Their prices range from about $1+ to $2+.

I am going to have papers and submissions flying in left and right, so this entry was a great read. I’ll keep note of these and hope I can happen upon them in when I search for midnight snacks. =P
