I think a lot of people do not realise that service charge does not directly go into the waiter's pockets. Since I have been living here, I have been leaving some sort of tip in case, but people have been telling me that it wasn't necessary because there is a service charge present. So I didn't for a few times, but restarted it again because, I guess it's out of habit? But before living here, when I was still living in Indonesia, to leave a tip was an act of gratitude.
