Recently, we’ve got a Korean movie totally about this.

200 Pounds Beauty = Desmond’s weight multiplied by 1.744586

Anyway, this romantic comedy is about a girl who undergoes a plastic surgery from top to toe for a man she loves, and also to achieve her dreams.

By the way, when people mention about plastic surgery, you know what I think of?

I don’t know lah. Perhaps that’s just me. This has got to be the most influential ‘product’ of plastic surgery I have ever seen.

Anyway, back to the movie.

If you haven’t seen this movie, go watch it! This is really one of the better Korean movies I have ever seen. It makes you laugh and cry, all for good reasons.

The songs in this movie are very nice and memorable. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the soundtrack from any music store I have visited after the movie, so I had to resort to other methods to get the soundtrack in my hands. What method? Heh heh heh I don’t tell you.

Even though I had to read subtitles throughout the whole movie, it was still very very enjoyable. I didn’t even realise I was reading subtitles. The actors and actresses acted very well. The comedic timing and pace were just great, despite the long running time of 2 hours.

The story is good, and it even sort of opened me up about plastic surgery. Not everyone who goes for do it just for vanity reasons, you know?

Will definitely buy its VCD when it’s out! XD
