Be young!
March 28th, 2007My friends and I had lunch with my lecturer (the one who woke me up) today. We had a wonderful conversation which touched on topics about life, beliefs, school, movies…… and BLOG.
Lecturer: I wrote them down in my blog the other day.
Me: *big eyes* Wa?? You have a blog?!
Lecturer: T_T Wei… Lecturer cannot have blog meh?
I was quite surprised to hear that he has a blog. I wouldn’t expect him to have the time and energy to blog, nor expect him to be really so ‘hip’! (He isn’t very young)
Some of you who have watched Jack Neo’s Just Follow Law might remember that there’s this senior citizen in the movie who has a blog called laozhabor. At first I thought it was a joke and didn’t believe it, until I typed the address.. and boom! Here it is.

She is really one cool granny! Her blog posts are funny and interesting. She also uploads some videos on Youtube and post them on her blog.
Some words of wisdom from one of her posts:
I thought the only way to stay young, is to be young. Forget all the wrinkle cream and plastic surgery! Feel young, live young is the only solution to be young!
How true! Auntie, I salute you!
Some of the movies that I’ve watched recently.

Mr Bean’s Holiday is, in my opinion, a high quality comedy made with very good effort. I’m not just referring to the funny parts, but also the story, direction and editing. If you like Mr Bean’s brand of humour, you will love this last story about him. 8 / 10
Oh, TMNT, I didn’t quite enjoy watching it. Perhaps I was tired and having a headache. Instead of enjoying the movie, I actually spent some time to analyse certain scenes and thinking how they were made and why they were made that way. -.- Overall, this is a real fast paced, action-packed and high quality animation with a lame story that contains a good message. (That’s a pretty long sentence by the way) 6 / 10

One of the better movies I’ve seen this year, The Pursuit of Happyness tells a story about a man who fights very hard for his dream despite almost everything working against him. This movie is truly an inspiration for all of us. It made me understand better how fortunate I am and want to be a better person. Highly recommended! 9 / 10
