What is Chinese New Year all about?

Found this playing on TV in a hypermarket. This song tells you very clearly what Chinese New Year is all about.

Money Money Money Money Money Money Money Money

They even repeat that single word eight times per line, and four lines per chorus to make sure you remember the song.

(For those who don’t understand Chinese, that word is ‘money’.)

If I were a Christian, I would say this song is inspired by Satan. Lol.

Money makes the world go round huh? Who would buy all these crappy Chinese New Year music videos, I wonder? =x

Haha. What a terrible song. I can just imagine it like all the other CNY songs that get stuck in your head even if they sound terribly crappy.

Indeed they are crappy. -.- It seems that even though they’re not sellable, they are still producing them. Guess those CNY songs we hear in super/hyper markets purchase them. LOL.
